Laura Welch is a native Canadian who lives and works in Tongyeong, South Korea, teaching the English language to children. She has taught after school English programs and adult language classes at Jinju National University of Education, where she was also part of the K-water English Outreach to rural elementary schools surrounding Jinju and Sacheon.  Prior to that, she taught middle school at Ganggyeong Girls and Boys Middle School. She is now teaching in a private language academy in Tongyeong. 
 
A world traveler, Laura knows first hand about the North Korean refugee issue; what's happening to Christians; why she believes Kim Jung Un and his North Korean military will NOT got to war; the role Red China ("the Red Devil", as she refers to it) is playing in this equation; and how former President Bill Clinton's move giving China a "Favored Trading Nation" status is affecting the USA and why he did it in the first place.
