"I know the man that wrote the after-action report on Operation Eagle Claw." Tom Kovach says he was involved in an incident six weeks after the Desert One debacle. That incident (for which there is no official record) likely prevented an international incident that would've resulted in the execution of at least some of those 52 hostages in Tehran.
