Discussion of women and the whole motherhood thing.

Why are men so threatened by the woman that chooses to remain child free and unmarried? Why is she labeled selfish and not wife material?

Why is society so focused on the wombs of women and what we do with our womb? Others focus on what age a woman should stop having children, how many abortions a woman can get, whether a woman can use the morning after pill or not, whether a woman's insurance (that she pays for!) should pay for her birth control when it pays for , and on making legislation to control women's access to things that provide them with the power to control what comes out of their womb and when?

It's worst in the black community where African American women and girls are harassed both for having children out of wedlock AND for aborting a pregnancy if she chooses NOT to have children she cannot afford. Are Black women are damned if they do and damned if they don't?

Every way women turn it seems they are being harassed by MEN about children - when to have them, when not to have them, taking them away from them, etc. Are men afraid of women's power to reproduce?

Should women just stop having children altogether?
