Feminism and Black Love Relationships

Why is it that African Americans, especially those shrouded in religious doctrine, are so against feminism? Is the sexism associated with religion so prevalent, so pervasive, that both Black men and women are afraid of women gaining freedom of choice and the right to do things the way they want to instead of the way MEN WANT THEM TO??? Feminism is a word uttered with the utmost disdain by Black men, and being called a feminist is almost equivalent to the "B" word. Why is it that Black Americans are so dead set against feminism?
