Black men - stop taking DRUGS no matter who brings them into the community. All you do is YOUR FAULT and no one else's. Take responsibility and stop whining and finger pointing. It's quite unattractive. As for what goes on in the UK, it has no bearing on African Americans. We need show no solidarity with African men either. I've yet to see any Africans show any with us! What I see is a lot of separatism, elitism and talking about how great things are "back home." (rolling eyes)

The lack of eligible Black men is not the fault of anyone but genetics and Black men. Are you aware of the fact that 27,000 black males have been killed in the U.S. since 2004 by guns, vs. only 5,000 men and women in the war in Afghanistan since 2004? Excellent show, which addressed a plethora of issues. African American women should exercise their autonomy to decide whom they date particularly men that reflect their socio-economic status. Each of the panelists suggested academic component as the primary factor in making choices. This I advance is an errant approach especially when the cultural element is seemingly ignored.

Ms. Heartbeat, this show was AMAZING! I thoroughly enjoyed the guests and I LOVED when you shut Richard down. lol This podcast got me through rush hour traffic today. I was yelling affirmations so loudly, and at some of the comments from some of the callers, I nearly forgot I was in traffic...and, that's not easy to do in this area.
