Prayer of protection.
As you are saying the prayer, visualise a shower of the purest white light from heaven pouring over your whole being. (See it as either fine droplets of white light, or as a cleansing ray of light). Visualise this light filling your body, cleansing your body of darkness, and creating a barrier or capsule of impenetrable white light around you.

Try and do this at least twice a day, perhaps once in the morning, and once in the evening. You can even white light yourself when you're out and about. If you're sitting on the bus or train on the way to work, or you're feeling stressed during the day, visualise the calming white light pouring over you. It may sound too simple to be true. But it DOES work. If you do this on a regular basis, your life WILL get better.

Pain Management: You can also use this method by directing white lighting to pain in your body.

Please remember when working with energy be gentle to you physical self.

A Prayer
In the name of Christ,
I ask for my Guides to come close to me.
I ask that a capsule of light be cast around me
to seal and protect me from any energies, entities or
influences that may be detrimental to me.
Fill my aura with the light and love of God,

Of course, feel free to use your own prayer, but be aware of one the elements of the prayer above. "In the name of Christ" is an essential part of the prayer because it immediately attracts the positivity of Christ towards you. If you are more comfortable with the word Buddha, or Krishna for example, use that. The important part is calling on your perception of purity and divinity.

Psychic Protection is the most ignored subject in the Psychic Community. What little is taught is ineffective against a true psychic attack. I was once told that we teach what we need to learn. I still have a lot to learn about Psychic Protection. I do not claim to be an expert in psychic protection. I am still learning how to protect myself and stop psychic attacks.

The most important thing I learned about psychic protection is how to build a psychic shield that will protect from almost any psychic attack.

*Psychic *Aura *Energy Protection

Psychic Protection is the most important thing you can learn when you develop an interest in the metaphysical/guided meditation/ or any connection to energy new age practices. It is also the one thing not taught in most books. IThis important skill is almost totally ignored today. Unfortunately putting a bubble of light around oneself, which is the most popular means of protection, is usually not sufficient.

Though everyone would like to believe that Love and Light will defeat anything, that simply is not true. We must learn to protect ourselves from any attack, from the psychic vampire at work who drains our energy to the person trying to kill us with magic. Many people laugh at voodoo and other forms of magic, but these forms of magic can, and have caused death. There are many people in the world who will attack someone psychically just for the fun of it. There are people who will do anything to get the person they are interested in romantically.

There are many spells and rituals in different belief systems to use for protection. Sometimes these can be very effective, but there are times when the attacker is very strong and these methods do not work. If someone is using their psychic abilities to connect to your chakras to control you, doing a spell is usually not going to break the connection. If someone is using their mind in an attempt to overpower yours, to inflict images of harm, or mental projections of coercion, a spell probably will not stop them.

The best form of protection is a psychic shield. This can be something as simple as the common bubble to a very complicated shield with many layers. The complexity of the shield needed would depend on what you are protecting yourself from. There are several types of shields. Proper shields should use force for force.

When first learning to make a shield, have a friend help you by sending energy toward your arm. Practice using different energies and colors until you are able to shield your arm from the energy. Once you are able to do this, you are ready to learn to make a full shield.

Some of us have problems with visualization. If necessary, draw a picture of your shield with an image of you in the middle or create a three dimensional object representing your shield to help you to focus your energy on creating it. You can also simply write it down very specifically to help you to focus.

It is important to keep your shield as close to your body as possible. Follow the contours of your body with the energy you choose for your shield. Pay special attention to your back, as this is the most often missed area. If you have your shield sticking out two feet from your body, and someone walks within a foot of you, they are inside your shield and can do anything they want to you.

When first learning to shield, it is best to keep your shield simple. This normally involves using a sphere projected from the mind to surround yourself. Imagine that you are pulling a blanket of energy around you, tucking it in all around. Practice as much as possible until you are able to keep it there automatically. Once you are able to keep this shield in place automatically, make the outside surface shiny to deflect energy away, like a mirror. Change the consistency of the shield - make it out of different substances such as crystal, metal, etc.

Once you are able to keep a simple shield around yourself, try something more complex. Create a second layer to your shield around the first. Add fillings between the two shields. For instance add something spongy or jelly-like to absorb enough energy to help slow down the penetration. Make the shields different thicknesses. Rotate them different directions. By rotating shields, the energy may be able to penetrate one shield, but when it hits the second shield rotating in the opposite direction, it is cancelled out. Someone experienced can break through this shield, but it may slow them down a bit.

Once you are able to keep this type shield consistently, you can try putting different shaped shields together, such as an octagon and a tetrahedron. These surfaces reflect different angles meaning that the energy needed to penetrate it has to be stronger. Energy will strike the surface and bounce off. If the attacker is stronger than the person shielding, penetration can occur, but it takes more time. Having all the layers rotating and spinning in different directions will make penetration harder. You can also create stacked shielding, which is basically one shield on top of the other with different fillings such as spikes, shapes, etc. Blending the different layers into each other so that there is no distinct division between them increases the resistance to penetration.

Using sound in some of the layers is a very effective method. Use a hiss, a roar, a whine, a scream, or whatever noise you wish to incorporate that is distracting.

Once you have mastered this type shield, you can learn to envelope other individuals inside your shield to protect them or control them in a hostile shield. A hostile shield is where you open up the outer surface of your shield and bring an individual inside it for control or protection. You can then take their shields and incorporate them into your own shield. To use a hostile shield to protect another person, you incorporate their shields by bringing them in close to you psychically, or asking them to stand close to you. You then use their energy to increase the strengths of your shields. If they are capable of shielding, you ask them to shield you while you shield them.

If you are bringing an individual within your shields to control them, you surround them in the external and second external shield. If you are stronger than they are, their shield will be cancelled out. Now, you can project thoughts to calm them down or you can talk to them to calm them down.

The most important thing is to constantly recharge your shield. This may need to be done every hour for a while until you can keep it in place. If you get lax and don't charge the shield, someone may be able to get through. You may need to continue this vigilance for years if the attackers are determined enough.

Psychic Protection Prayer can should be used before group or prior to on-line guided meditations, ghost hunting with people you do not know.

Some practice the dark arts for a reason.

Beware with whom is leading you. Check their backgound first. You may be connecting with a lower spirit and unable to release attachement.
