When asked how competitive he was, arguably the greatest basketball player ever to play the game, Michael Jordan remarked, “I don’t even like to lose to my kids”. Obviously competition is healthy and necessary in sports but what about in marriage? We all know how Mr. Jordan’s marriage turned out and I wonder how much of his or her competitive nature played a part in it. Ponder this: What things do married couples compete for? Money, affection, success, material possessions, or even kids? That’s right I said it, even kids. As strange as some of those things sound there is some truth to it. Share your thoughts and questions with us on this very real topic of competition within the marriage. Submit your comments to keepnitrealwitkimp@gmail.com or call in with your comments to (347) 826-9214 during the show. And as always, my only request is that, like the name of the show says; you keep it real.
