There once was a time when it was widely accepted that a man’s sole job was to go to work and provide for the needs of his family. Likewise, the woman’s role was to cook, clean and pop out babies. To some extent, there are those who continue to live by that philosophy, but more recent generations would argue that that way of thinking is old fashioned and out dated. Should there be such a thing as gender roles? If so, how do we define them? If not, how do we determine who’s responsible for what? What role if any does gender roles play in how the courts divide assets in domestic and marital issues? And lastly, what do we teach our children as far as what role each individual plays in a relationship? So put your game face’s on and let’s discusses this controversial issue on the show.
