Betty Kit-Fong Yau has achieved the elusive balance of making a difference in her community while still finding time to run her own successful business.
In 1992, while studying for her Masters degree at the University of Massachusetts, Yau was asked to host a show in Chinese on WJDA, a Quincy radio station.
She is currently working with QATV, the cable TV station of Quincy.
April 8, 2013 Betty Yau, producer of Eye on Quincy, won 1st Place in the Alliance for Community Media Northeast Region 2013 video festival.
