Having had a personal battle with Lyme disease, Wendy undoubtedly knows what people are up against and hopes to spread a message of perseverance and action. Today, she is the founder of Waterloo Region Lyme Disease group that trades information, educates and does advocacy work for Waterloo Region.  Jim Wilson is the founder of CanLyme, Canada’s national group that educates and advocates on behalf of Lyme patients across the country.
