Dr. Aisenberg is an applied and experimental physicist, with expertise in areas such as plasmas, energy, microwaves, and instrumentation. Currently, he is working on the patenting and development of Diamond like Carbon (DLC) thin films, which are carbon films without hydrogen content. He also was a principle investigator in the artificial heart program of NIH and for a Joslin Diabetes foundation program.
 
The doctor is a recipient of numerous awards and honors, including several IR-100 awards for new products and research in Helium-Neon Lasers. He has over 134 publications, lectures part time at Harvard Medical School, and is a visiting research professor in the Bioengineering Department of Boston University.
