Ashford Publishing Radio Presents Christine Walters

Christine is the Owner of Minnie Christine Custom Costumes, located in Riverside, California. Ms. Walters has more than 25 years of professional experience. She conducts classes and oversees live theatrical productions. She previously worked as a makeup designer for Robert Goulet in “Man of La Mancha”, and for ten years managed a costume shop for a theatrical rental company. She also held the title of resident designer for 12 years.

She considers being able to design costumes for famous theatres like The Santa Fe Opera, the Tulsa Ballet and the Hollywood Bowl, and to work with Michael Butler, the producer of “Hair: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical” on Broadway, to be her greatest professional accomplishments. Ms. Walters holds a Master of Fine Arts in Costume Design from California State University, Fullerton and a Master of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Oklahoma State University. She also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design from Washington State University and an Associate Degree in Religion from Brigham Young University.
