He was recognized in 1986, with the Innovator of the Year Award from the United States Small Business Administration, and in 1989, was the recipient of a prestigious Bailey Award. In 1995, Merrill Lynch bestowed upon him, The Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
