Ashford Publishing Radio Presents Dr. Elvira Williams

Dr. Williams is the Founder and Director of the Nanoscience & Nanotechnology Research Center, College of Arts and Sciences, at Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina.

 

The Research Center was created to raise the educational prospects of Shaw students to a significantly higher level. The students will be able to go from earning a B.S. degree with minimal research experience, to earning an M.S. and Ph.D. degrees with aggressive and useful research experience, in cutting edge fields of nanoscience and nanotechnology. By contributing to the current nanoscale science and technology initiative, Shaw University has gained a national and international visibility among its peers. The NNRC is a platform of large funding for dozens of academic positions, and home for state-of-the-art facilities and research activities.
