His mother's gift of colored pencils and a thick pad of drawing paper commenced a 65 year progression through time to the life of a world class Artist and Teacher of the Sacred Geometries. In the pursuit of this life he has been a truck mechanic, engine builder, and race car driver. Yet it was art that formed the core of his life. After leaving the Cleveland Institute of Art he began his career as a Professional Artist. His return to the CIA lead him to discover open eyed meditation & the creation of Mandalas. Pursuing a career in Fine Arts Gilchrist lived and worked in New Mexico and Florida finally returning to Ohio. He has continued to evolve; becoming a filmmaker working with Kevin P. Miller, in 2001. His company CG Imaging has enabled him to introduce his Mandala based art and the Sacred Geometries to an International audience. expand
