Tonight, please stand with ASA, Authors Supporting Authors, against Domestic Violence.

Every 9 seconds, a woman is physically attacked, usually by someone she knows, right here in the United States of America.

But do we realize that women are not the only victims of Domestic Violence? Men are also abused but most don't come forward to endure taunting and teasing from peers.

Our teens are also being abused in their relationships and parents are often times the last one to know. It is imperative that we sit down with our sons and daughters and discuss this very serious issue with them. And more importantly, let's show them the right way because children do tend to mimic our behavior. They don't always do as we say do; they do as they see us doing.

Yes, our children are watching us. What are we showing them?
