"A Harmony Christmas" the Sweet Harmony Band Christmas album. Harmony conducts daily art and music enrichment sessions for adults with developmental disabilities that focus on creative self-expression as well as supported employment and job training services through social enterprise with Harmony Books and the Harmony Thrift & Gift Store. Harmony's purpose is to create social balance between the community & adults with developmental disabilities.
Participants stay connected to the community through regular art and music shows where they are given an opportunity to share their talents both artistically and musically by performing as The Sweet Harmony Band.
Harmony enriches many lives every day and makes life better for a population that face limited resources or overlooked altogether.
"A Harmony Christmas" was recorded at Waterloo Ice House in Austin, Texas with Tressie Seegers, Director of the Austin Harmony Project and vocals by singer Tina Wilkins.
