In 2010 Ken Whitman started volunteering for Indy movies around Louisville Kentucky. In the process meeting Tim Gooch, they got along amazingly, and started writing Brothers Barbarian.

In May 2011, Ken & Tim, along with Margaret Weis and Larry Elmore, filmed the Brothers Barbarian Web Series season 1.
