ArtSees Diner Radio welcomes Jack Thanatos, of The Djinn Trials series and Stephen Cooney, illustrator.

Jack Thanatos writes with  a little bit of mythology and dark humor, The Djinn Trials mixes in with historical and modern events with a view through the Djinn lens, as if The Old Ones were in control the whole time. The Gods of Chaos follows Jack and his close nit group of friends as they discover a world where the strings have been pulled by the Old Ones. Jack Thanatos drives the narrative style story into the far reaches of mythology inspired chaos. Jack Thanatos, aka. Justin Irps was raised in Kankakee Illinois with three sisters, a hard working father, and a mother that had enough love for the entire neighborhood. The Gods of Chaos occurred "while bored out of my mind standing watch in the engine room, thinking about people back home." Being in the US Navy and being deployed right after 9-11, he was able to delve into the nature of humanity, while living within the lines of the military, he told stories of those who can only exist outside the lines!

Stephen Cooney is known for his illustrations specializing in horror, Sci-Fi and murder/ mysteries. His style is reminscinet of Iron Maiden album convers. His life and passion are centered around two things; his family and his art. He loves creating and designing new projects for author's who want to transfer an understanding of the their work to potential readers. He is a lover of horror, zombie, and grizzly stories. While he stays in within the lines, his mind is telling stories outside the lines.
