Join ArtSees Diner in welcoming Douglas "The Chef" Rapier back to the Diner for this weekly feature. He blends his vast musical knowledge with his love of the blues. Each week he will take us on a musical journey as only Brother Doug can do! This week he explores the roots, stems and branches of the blues by looking at The Yardbirds, and Miss Etta James.
Douglas C. Rapier was born in a little log cabin he helped his father build in Kankakee, Illinois. Soon after, he whittled a guitar out of firewood and taught himself to play simple tunes. He comes to us from Taipei Taiwan. A member of the blues Bopomofo. He is very active in the Blues scene in Taiwan.
DCR, has been a long contributor to ArtSees Diner.  Recently authored his first e-publication, Ovoid Illinois.
