ArtSees Diner is an on-line magazine that was started by Mary E. LaLuna, its creator in August of 2008. The ArtSees Diner concept was actually formulated in the mind of Mary long before Starbucks’ fame, or the hit t.v. show “Friends” ever hit the pop-culture wave. So, after much longing for a "third place" where people could gather around and share their dreams, talents and ponderings it became evident that in order for it to happen, it would have to go virtual. The original name was Artsies, but after careful scrutiny, and looking deeper into the meaning of the dream, Steve suggested a different spelling. I said, it is a humanities type center, Art sees with the heart, “ahhhh….ArtSees! So from that the online magazine was born. While during the daytime hours, she teaches 8th grade students in Michigan City, at nights she dons her editor cap, her musician’s belt, and whips out the mighty Rapier and produces ArtSees. ArtSees Promotes musicians, artists, writers, and dreamers, even Chefs! Now it is time to expand out into the online radio realm and fulfill another dream; to become a radio talk show host. Although I am no Larry Lujack or John Records Landecker, it is fun all the same. It is time to make it an audio reality! Join us at the Diner! Hey, right this way your table’s waiting!
