These books focus on a girl named Anastasia who lives in the Russian Tiaga and lives among the forest and animals there. She is known to have special powers and a deep connection to all things natural. Schools have come into existence based on her philosophies which are completely run by the children, allowing them to be creative and self sustaining. They solve their own problems together and produce the most amazing artwork.
