Our guest today is Aidan Doherty who was a practicing Druid for many years. Aidan is also a Acim-Teacher, Counsellor, Spiritual Guide, Bio-energy Practitioner.

Aidan reports: "I was born in Strabane, Northern Ireland in 1958. I have 3 brothers and 4 sisters. I worked for an American Company for 26 years up until 1998. At this time my job ended, my marriage ended and life as I knew it had come to an end.

In 2001 I moved to Letterkenny, a town I loved very much and Donegal was the birthplace of my Grandparents.

In 2004 I was involved in a car accident, which resulted in the death of my passenger. This incident had a profound effect on me; it led to my first perfect true forgiveness lesson with the driver of the other car, this event I now know inspired my Spiritual Awakening soon after. I began an inner search for the true meaning of my life.

In 2005 while I was out walking one day with a friend of mine, he suggested that I join this group he called “The Druids”. The Druids were a Celtic Spiritual Group who practised personal development. This was the beginning of my Spiritual Path.

About one month before I joined the Druids, I was walking on a beach in Donegal one day, and as I strolled down the isolated beach I encountered a wild Stag standing on the sand right in front of me. This encounter left me with a very strong connection to nature and life. Later when I became a member of the Druids, I noticed that the emblem of the Druids is the symbol of the Stag. For the next two and half years I was a member of the “Grove of Danu” which is an Irish identity of the Druids.

Life in the Druids consisted of Dancing, Poetry, Teachings on Consciousness and the reality of Time, Death, Life, and Spiritual Advancement."
