Gabrielle Wortman is a classically trained pianist, guitarist, and vocalist who has been making beautiful music for over fifteen years. New York City born and Connecticut bred; Gabrielle now brings her authentic flavor and ethereal talents to the streets of Los Angeles. She has performed to audiences of up to 8,500, and most recently her performance in UCLA’s Spring Sing won her the “Bruin’s Choice Award” as well as the “Best Production” award. She is currently promoting the release of her latest EP titled “Voodoo” which features dark and soulful tracks intended to stimulate your mind and body.
In 2009 she released her debut album, “Home Is Where The Art Is”, which was nominated for AAA Album of the Year award by the Los Angeles Music Awards. To this date the independently released album has sold over 10,000 copies and has gained worldwide recognition from press and fans. She is currently nominated in two categories for the 2011 Hollywood Music in Media Awards for her current single’s music video, as well as her recently release “Voodoo EP”. Certainly, Gabrielle is “one to watch” on the music industries varying radar.
