Deuteronomy 28 not only chronicles or prophesies the destruction of Jerusalem, but it also warns of the judgments of God upon scattered Israel in all the nations of the earth, but especially the United States. A branch of Israel was brought over by the hand of the Jehovah when the colonists were moved upon by the Holy Ghost while in the old world to come here being counted by the Lord as the remnant of Jacob, even Ephraim, which had lost its national identity when scattered up into Europe, but which has the birthright. These judgments are now being felt by every person in the United States, and are described in Deuteronomy 28 in exquisite detail.
63 And it shall come to pass, [that] as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.
(Deut 28:63)
