As the prospect of the impending Government of God on earth rises, it is necessary to reflect on the history of man's machinations and the order and harmony noticed in the heavens, for instance, in the motions of the planetary bodies in their regularity and in obdedience to law, and then entertain the prospect of man governing these bodies. World upon world, collisions of system upon system, hot one moment and cold, the next, etc. Notice taken of the awful history of nations and their governments colliding in the wars of human history, whereas if they were governed by one Fatherly head, there would be a paradise on earth.
