Mr. Tyson, who recently has been severed from all the ordinances of the House of God by the authority and power of the Apostleship which we hold in the name of Messiah, defied the power residing therein and came out in open rebellion against the Holy Order of God.  Many are called but few are chosen.  He came demanding ordination under our hands for he had received a vision commanding us to perform baptism and ordination so he could then run amuck and create confusion according to the power of the devil raging within, and threatened us that "I know where you live" whereupon he appeared suddenly to Jimmy while at a tire shop changing his tires and Jimmy rebuked him to his face.  Mr. Tyson was cast from our fellowship for violating the order of the Church and Kingdom of God, saith the Lord. Tyson has no office or calling by only his report of a vision, etc.

"In April of 1833 the Prophet warned Jared Carter and other saints, that "if any person have a vision or a visitation from a heavenly messenger, it must be for his own benefit and instruction," and not for those in authority above him." (TPJS, p. 21.)

Therefore we detect the devil which has deceived this novice, despite his enthusiasm for wickedness and rebellion and cast him from our midst.

JD 6:, p.127
Jared Carter, Dr. Cowdery, and others fell through taking that course. They tried to run in between the Twelve and Joseph, and they stepped between the bucklers of the Almighty. Had they a right to do it? No. Have I a right although I am brother Brigham's First Counsellor, and have been ever since he was the President of the Twelve,-have I a right to prejudice his mind against Daniel? No. I have sworn not to before God. Or have I a right to prejudice his mind against the Twelve? No. Because I am sworn not to, by the most sacred covenants that man can make.
