Modernity has no answer for evil.  What is it?  Is there an evil entity?  Without the true science of Theology which the revelators of Jacob are in possession, there is no ken for this problem and no means for fighting it.  Until the people depart from their ungodliness in the classroom and elsewhere, the powers of evil are necessarily loosed upon them but if they obey the law of God they obtain shelter and rescue.  

 

 11 For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things. If not so, my first-born in the wilderness, righteousness could not be brought to pass, neither wickedness, neither holiness nor misery, neither good nor bad. Wherefore, all things must needs be a compound in one; wherefore, if it should be one body it must needs remain as dead, having no life neither death, nor corruption nor incorruption, happiness nor misery, neither sense nor insensibility. (2 Ne  2:11)
 
 38 But behold, your days of probation are past; ye have procrastinated the day of your salvation until it is everlastingly too late, and your destruction is made sure; yea, for ye have sought all the days of your lives for that which ye could not obtain; and ye have sought for happiness in doing iniquity, which thing is contrary to the nature of that righteousness which is in our great and Eternal Head.
