One of the great proofs that Joseph Smith was a true prophet is the fact that when John restored the Aaronic Priesthood to the earth, he said "Upon you my fellow servants in the name of Messiah (not "the messiah" or "Jesus Christ" but the plural, "of Messiah" indicating an office, held by two, saith the Lord.

I found this from a Jewish website:

Jewish tradition sometimes refers to two redeemers, each being called "Messiah" (i.e., Mashiach). Both of these redeemers are involved in delivering Israel  from galut (exile) and ushering in the long-awaited Messianic era. These two Messiahs are called Mashiach ben David , "the Messiah the descendant of David," and Mashiach ben Yosef , "the Messiah the descendant of Joseph," respectively.

Paul said of this,

 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

(Rom  11:26)

The "deliverer", saith the Lord, is the One Mighty an Strong also referred to as a "man like Moses":

 15 Behold, I say unto you, the redemption of Zion must needs come by power;
 16 Therefore, I will raise up unto my people a man, who shall lead them like as Moses led the children of Israel.
 17 For ye are the children of Israel, and of the seed of Abraham, and ye must needs be led out of bondage by power, and with a stretched-out arm.
 18 And as your fathers were led at the first, even so shall the redemption of Zion be.
