A spate of Gentile dogs inhabited the chat room tonight. Why do I say Gentile dogs? Dogs have a limited range. Gentiles have a limited range. Being more on a animal level, genetically and racially these lack the range to comprehend the things of the spirit. These predilections, I suppose, come from a certain noncommittal attitude displayed in the classrooms being taught in the pre-mortal existence. Jesus called them dogs, so why shouldn't I? This particular group comprised former members who had apostatized because of a lack of root in themselves.
6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. (Matt 7:6)
26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast [it] to dogs. (Matt 15:26)
17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.(Mark 4:17)
15 And these are they likewise which receive the word on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness, and have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time; and afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended. (JST Mark 4:15)
