The Discipline of Children

Prov 29:15 15 The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame. Revelation on Discipline of Children: 2 Yea, thus saith the Lord concerning the discipline of children before me, saith the Lord, is it not written that he that loveth father, mother, brother, son or daughter more than me, is not worthy of me? 3 Therefore it is that the principle is greater, saith the Lord, and all must conform to righteousness, and I the Lord excuse not myself... 7 Therefor I the Lord God chasteneth him whom I love, and even so, saith the Lord... 10 And concerning the law, did not justice have its sway, from before the foundation of the world, and yet am I not also full of mercy, and longsuffering that I make the rain to fall upon the just and the unjust in their time? 11 And did I the Lord not also cast them out who were my sons? 12 As Abraham spared not Isaac, even so I the Father offered mine Only Begotten as a sacrifice, and though he were perfect before me, yet he did bow before my will, saith the Lord, and the rod was upon him, not for his own transgression, but for the sins of Israel were the stripes laid upon him, and I the Father suffered it to be so that all might be saved. 13 And so it is with stripes shall the souls of thy children also be delivered from death and hell, for with stripes are we healed. 14 Therefor spare not the rod, my son, for the rod and reproof give wisdom.
