    in Poetry

Welcome to Liquid Libations Radio the place for spoken word artists, poets and those who love the beauty and power of the spoken word!  Put the kids to bed, sit back and relax while I talk erotic poetry with Mo Beasley and members of UrbanErotika Unlimited.
Mo Beasley's UrbanErotika?y’s is a live performance series celebrating erotic love through poetry, spoken word, music, dance, and theatre – as expressed by New York City’s diverse cultures. Each performance is composed with four Suites of Eros and starts with the most soft and sensual, ending with the most wild and explicit. The Infatuation Suite, Seduction Suite, Sweet Bliss, and the Raw Suite are the full spectrum of romantic and sexual love at UrbanErotika. UrbanErotika is perhaps one of New York’s most diverse artist showcases. For over ten years, the theater-styled performance series has proven to be rather eclectic: Puerto Rican tap dancers, Korean folk singers, West African dancers, Jewish musicians, South African singers, European poets, as well as the tri-state area’s best-known African American poets, dancers, singers, and musicians have all graced the UrbanErotika stage. Whatever the genre, the show is created to unify the concepts of love and sex in a variety of artistic expressions.

As a recovering workaholic disguised as a highly successful Fortune 100 corporate branding and marketing executive, Hal hid his authentic self and his divine gifts from the world for over 40 years.
After spending 59 years of using his gifts and talents in service to others, Hal is now "right on time" in rescuing his inner child to return joy, wisdom and playfulness back into his world.

This personal journey is birthing Hal as the author of a series of children's stories and the creator of a number of nationwide family-focused "Super Hero Camps." Under the guise of Hal’s destiny to claim his own "Heroic Heart," these books and camps are designed to create and nurture meaningful, lifetime connections between children and their parents to support each other in living their own unique purpose in life.

    in Books

    HOLY WAR:
The Battle of Beirut is worse than Hell, an irrational maelstrom of implacable hatreds and inconceivable suffering, of screaming bombs and exploding shells, crashing buildings, sniper battles, and deadly ambushes. Neill, a war correspondent on a secret mission for Britain’s MI6 intelligence agency, is trying to find Mohammed, a Hezbollah terrorist leader who may be willing to stop the slaughter and destruction.  André, a French commando, is also looking for Mohammed, to kill him in revenge for the death of his brother, blown up with over 400 US Marines and French paratroopers by Hezbollah. For Rosa, a remorseless and passionate Palestinian guerrilla, Mohammed is one of the few hopes left for her people, and she will give her life to protect him. And for lovely Anne-Marie, André is the only one who can rescue her from Hell.  Based on Bond’s own experiences in Lebanon, Syria and the Middle East, Holy War has been praised for its portrayal of battle and its journalistic and political realism, and for its evocative descriptions of men and women caught in a deadly crossfire.

As Sondheim wrote, "Art isn't easy," but listening to people across the globe talk about it is! Our selection of shows that fall under the art umbrella is unparalleled, because we've got the world's most beloved authors, most talked-about actors and truly groundbreaking artists discussing their work, their influences and the creative process. On any given day, join in conversation with bestselling novelists, with museum curators on major fine art exhibits, with directors and writers whose films are the talk of Sundance or Cannes, with newsmakers whose latest works are changing the face of photography, mixed media or interior design. Spoken word is also voiced here, and other forms of poetry, as are journaling, crafts and more. Yes, BlogTalkRadio is bursting with self-expression; so if you've got a creative passion you'd like to share with the world, why not host your own show? We'll have you know, that part is easy.
