Quilting bees of bygone days have taken a whole new twist, thanks to the internet. The term bee was used to describe a gathering of peers to accomplish a task. And that’s certainly what the 12 collaborators of the 12 x 12 International Art Quilt Challenge have done – a virtual quilting bee.
