Michael Jackson’s Memorial Ceremony – Truly The “King of Pop”

Michael Jackson was a “benevolent humanitarian” who spent a lifetime reaching out and helping others.  Michael Jackson will always be remembered as the King of Pop.  Not a title, he gave to himself, it is by the millions of fans in the world, who believed he was.

Michael Jackson nick named “Mike” was born in Gary, Indiana, as a cute African-American guy, who was amazingly gifted.  Though portrayals of Mike’s life dictate his isolated and complicated childhood, he did grow up encircled by prominent people.  As the world remembers, Michael Jackson at the age of five years, along with his brothers, was, together recognized as the well-known “Jackson 5”.   They begin their musical journey locally, going on to New York, New York, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Gladys Knight, vocalist, and Billy Taylor, pianist, “discovered” the Jackson 5 at the famous Apollo Theater in Harlem.  Mike was a superstar overnight and at the age of 13, he ventured out on his own.  Get more information here www.oncealivinglegend.com.

Ben, Michael Jackson’s first #1 song, at the age of 14, was about a touching love song to a rat. A big hit!  Goes to show you how incredibly talented he was.  He went on to surpass stardom with various hits continuing up through his 45 years of accomplishments.

In 1978, Michael ventured into a film when he starred opposite Dianna Ross (a dream come true) in The Wiz, an African-American remake of the Wizard of Oz.  Triumph was in every move that Michael made.  From albums, videos, MTV, to movies, who would have ever thought that early in life, Michael would become intrigued with plastic surgery?  Changing his face and skin attributes to fill a need from impressions left by childhood.

He would get addicted to an ever-evolving change in face, while dealing with accusations of child molestation, and, end up America’s Most Famous Sideshow, unimaginable by his fans?  Michael Jackson was a “compassionate humanitarian” who knew the importance of reaching out to others. He was and will remain the true King of Pop, a title not given by him, but actually realized by his millions of fans around the world.    Get an insight into his life journey and pictures from his family photo albums.  Visit http://www.oncealivinglegend.com
