Registery Cleaner - Where to find a good one

If you're reading this, you probably already know what a registry cleaner is and just want to know where to find a good one. No problem, I'll tell you in a minute!

But at first for all those people who can't do anything with it, a registry cleaner is a software that will make your PC run faster after cleaning up a huge database that's part of the computers operating system, more specifically on all Windows machines. Such a database manages all software that is installed on your PC, e.g. file paths or certain values that are needed for program execution. The more programs, games and tools you install on your PC, the more bloated your registry database will get. This results in a steady decrease in overall system speed and stability, on some older machines you'll notice some drastic effects like your PC needing several minutes to start up.

A registry cleaner will come in handy if you want to free your database from the heavy load of bit and bytes. You could do it all by hand, but you should NEVER do that! By deleting stuff from the registry and messing around with all those bits and bytes, you're risking a complete crashdown of your PC and/or serious failures like programs never working correctly and so on.

Ok, so far so good. But what's a recommendable registry cleaner that actually works?
Well, you have many alternatives ranging from free options to some heavy bloated software where you'll pay big bucks for crappy results.

A good free option is called CCleaner. A nice and slick program thats original intent is to clean up your harddrives from junk like temporary files and such. It also features a registery cleaner option, but it's unfortunately only rudimentary integrated. The software as such is quite recommendable, but if you want a full blown (non crappy) registry cleaner you should read on.

My personal favorite is called Registery Cleaner. As far as I know it's currently leading the market and that with good reason. I've tested many reg cleaners, including free ones, but so far this program works the best. It finds the most registry errors, cleans up loads of unused entries and also secures all settings in case something goes wrong. Especially on older machines you'll feel a strong increase in speed and stability after running a registry fix. A great program for a great price! Feel free to check out my review about that slick Registery Cleaner!

Hope this article was a slight bit helpful to you!

    Cheers,
    Piet
