Michael Bane, Executive Producer and Talent for The DownRange TV production "Shooting Gallery" and I began talking about doing an episode dedicated to Appleseed back in 2006. Michael has been an ardent supporter of Appleseed and the Appleseed Mission since the beginning of our organization.

Michael and I did an episode together on his radio show back then and we have been talking about doing a TV show about Appleseed ever since but nothing could be worked out for several years. Well, it finally got on the schedule and Michael and his crew filmed it. It aired 02/20/13 on The Outdoor Channel. I watched this episode and I think that the folks in Colorado, Jim and Kim Heath and all of the instructors featured in the episode were about as professional as you can get. I might be biased, but I think it is one of the best Shooting Galleries aired so far.

Jim and Kim will be on the show tonight to talk about the filming and about how they think it hashelped to fill the lines in Colorado and with over a million viewers, how it is helping to introduce and mainstream Appleseed  to millions of Americans in the shooting sports.

We also discuss the continued ammunition shortage and what we can do to fill the lines until there is a break in the situation and the supply catches up to the demand.

Hope to see you there!
