Since 9/11, we have seen many actions taken by Washington to secure our country that resemble, in many cases, a sanctioned peeping Tom. We have cameras on our streets, buildings, and even in our day cares watching every move we make. The world has truly become a camera. The scary part is that the majority of surveillance cameras are connected through the internet.
This should worry those citizens who value their privacy as they live their lives and mind their own business because the recently proposed Cybersecurity Act of 2012 allows the government to conduct surveillance on any person or organization they deem appropriate. The question is, "Just how much control does the government need?"
