Genesis 50: 17-21
17So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray the now, the trespass of they brethren, and their sin; for they did unto thee evil: and now, we pray thee, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when they spake unto him.
18 And his brethren also went and fell down before his face;and they said, Behold, we be thy servants.
19 And Joseph said unto them, Fear not:for am I in the place of God?
20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass as it is this day, to save much people alive.
21 Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them.Note: Oftentimes, we find ourselves in the same predicament as Joseph ie... thrown in a pit, falsely accused, thrown in prison, and even forgotten. Yet God gives us favor in every situation! When we thought we couldn't go on, God provided us the strength and energy to endure as a good soldier! In retrospect, we must consider the fact that Joseph could have thrown his brothers out; however, he didn't! Joseph restored his brothers just as God instructed job to do concerning his friends. In other words, we are to love inspite of the hatred or jealousy shown toward us. This is hard but we can do it through the Power of God!As we continue to press toward the mark, it is a process, we must remind ourselves to love! No matter how difficult...God has empowered us with his Holy anointing! We must remember that He has given us what we need to endure. So go ahead and love them to life! Take the time to restore someone even though they have done wrong! I guarantee God will step in! He showed us how when He died on the cross for sins He never committed!
God Bless...Stay encouraged!
