    Taxpayers spoke loudly and clearly when they approved Ammendment #1 earlier this year effectively doubling the Homestead Exemption here in Florida. Now local governments are cutting budgets to the bone in an effort to make ends meet. "Free" money for not-for-profit agencies is a thing of the past.
