Many people from every ethic background can share great stories about their grandfathers. Our grandfathers provided for their families, they purchased their own land, they grew their own food, they built their own homes, and many of them were self-employed-- although many had little or no former education according to the U.S. Census from 1870 to 1940.
Those men took care of the community. They had skills that were passed down from generation to generation. Have we studied the history and the journeys of our grandfathers? What can we learn from the valuable lessons they taught us? Have we abandoned some valuable lessons they taught? Have we lost our inhertiance?
