If you are the self-appointed or elected person to be "the family historian." It starts out as a hobby,  are simply because you enjoy history or just telling a good story. You are excited for the information that you found. The next thing you know you are now hooked and now it is your passion. The family and others see how excited you are about genealogy. They are starting to tell you new stories and giving more information to put in the family archives.

Now you are the "offically family historian" you are the keeper of all the important family documents and information. When there is a need to put together a funeral program or obituary requiring detail information, you proudly go to your records and pass on the information.

The next thing you know twenty plus years has passed by and your are still gathering documents, photographs, and other information about your family.

Please join host Antoinette Harrell and her special guest Family Historian, Filmaker, editor and research Leonard Smith III for this upcoming discussion.
