150 years ago today many former enslaved African were celebrating their long awaited freedom. They waited in their homes, churches, and meeting hall for the freedom bell to ring.

But what you may not know is that slavery didn't end for hundreds of thousands of African Americans. The new form of slavery captured Polish, Hungrians, Poor Whites, Native Americans, and Mexicans were taken as slaves in America.

A couple weeks ago I met a man name Roger Dean Kiser, who was abandoned by his parents and placed in a Florida orphanage. Roger is one of the White House Boy who was abused, beat and tortured at Dozier Reform School. Roger confirmed what I suspected, a form of peonage and involuntary servitude exist at this Reform School in Marianna, Florida.

Please host Antoinette Harrell and her special guest Roger Dean Kiser, The author of "The White House Boy" An American Tragedy as he discuss the abuse and torture he and other boys experience at Dozier Reform School.
