Hurricanes, Earthquakes, Floods, Tsunamis and Wildfires

Hurricane Sandy whipped through the mid-Atlantic region this past Monday and claimed over 60 lives. Her winds knocked down power lines, blowed over trees and leaving more than five million people without power. 

Flooding in Nigeria has killed overly 150 people and displaced hundreds of thousands of others. Lack of food, water and shelter has turned into a humanitarian crisis.

An earthquake of a magnitude of  4.2 could be felt in southern Alaska. On  October 16th, a minor earthquake shook southern Maine and was felt  thorughout New England states

In Hawaii the citizens watched the water level waiting for the arrival of a tsunami Saturday, Oct 27, 2012.
