Genealogy is the study of past and present. We learn from our past, we study and analyze our ancestors lives. How did they survive and how did they work through the challenges of their time and period? We can only hope that we are making a positive and rewarding changes for the tomorrow's families. So many families today are faced with unemployments, no health care, failing educational systems, youth incarceration, creating a safe environment for their families and children. A study showed that more than two-thirds of low income families in our communities are living below the poverty line. Is there anything that we can learn from studing our own personal history?
