Several weeks ago we aired a story on a woman named Susie Amacker Washington from Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. After the story aired, her 3rd great granddaughter contacted me about her grandmother, Maye Richardon Hall the granddaugther of Susie. Maye was married to James Arthur Hall of Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana.  She was also employed by Campbell's Funeral Home in Hammond, LA.  She later became employed as a secretary at O.W. Dillion Elementary School in Kentwood, Louisiana.

During the summer and every holiday Roxanne would visit her grandmother in Louisiana. Please join host Antoinette Harrell & co-host Dr. Okpara Nosakhere as they welcome their special guest Roxanne Mansifield the 3rd great granddaughter Roxanne Mansifield of Susie Amacker Washington for a  discussion on the history and legacy of Susie.
