Most women who are pioneers are an extension of their foremothers. But too often they aren't mentioned in our history books. These brave women of courage put their lives on the line for their children, families and their communities. Yet they go without the honors they so well deserve. Please join my special guest Jo-Ann Lewis Frazier, a woman of change who protested during the height of the civil rights movement for blacks people to have the right to equal employment in the work force in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. Also joining host Antoinette Harrell is Myrtis Johnson founder of Save Our Graves Foundation. Ms. Johnson is on a mission to preserve abandoned African American cemeteries in St. Helena & Tangipahoa Parishes.
