Black History Month can be key to discovering your own family history. Since the airing of the movie "Roots"  in 1977 an American television miniseries based on the late Alex Haley's novel. Many African Americans has taken great pride in researching and documenting their family history. Why not celebrate Black History Month by researching, recording and documenting your family history?
