Eleven years ago I had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Cain Walls who's family were held as slaves in Amite County, Mississippi and St. Helena, Louisiana. He often told me about how black babies would be used as fishing bait in deep rural areas. Well, it wasn't I met genealogiist and/family historian Myrtis Johnson and she shared the horrible stories of black babies being used as fishing bait  as told to her by Mrs. Pearl Knighten. Please join host Antoinette Harrell and her special guest genealogist and family historian Myrtis Johnson.
