After listening to the Bev Smith Talk Show and Nurturing Our Roots, Brother Nana Nasi heard Host, Antoinette Harrell's cry out for the Mississippi Delta in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Quick to take action, he loaded up a U-Haul full of clothes, shoes, coats, blankets, food, wheel chairs, walkers, housewares, and furniture and drove 14 hours through the threats of tornadoes, sleet, and heavy rain to deliver these items to the people in Webb and Glendora, Mississippi as well as Fluker, Louisiana.

He got to see first hand the poverty and plight of those left behind.  Although, he has no known roots that tie him to the area, this technology helped to make him aware of the situation and make this connection.  He was welcomed him with open arms. He had the opportunity to meet the black farmers.

Please join our Hosts, Antoinette Harrell and Robin Foster as Brother Nasi shares his experiences in the Mississippi Delta.
