Dear Mr. Smith,

The Center for Economic Development (the Center) at Cleveland State University’s Levin College of Urban Affairs is conducting research on the Cleveland music sector commissioned by the Community Partnership for Arts and Culture.  The Center is looking to assemble a focus group for this project. The focus group will consist of individuals involved and associated with the Cleveland music sector in order to gain a full understanding of its components and economic impact.  On behalf of the Center and Community Partnership for Arts and Culture, we would like you to participate in this focus group because of your significant role in the Cleveland music sector.

The objectives of this focus group are to further vet and endorse the results of our study thus far and also to gather additional relevant information.  Your input and advice on these components are important to us as a way of finalizing the description of the Cleveland music sector.  With your help, we plan to further investigate all facets of the music sector.

We anticipate no more than a two hour time commitment for the focus group.  Two options of time and place are available to you: Tuesday February 8th at Cleveland State University West Center 26202 Detroit Road, Westlake, OH 44145, Room 217 (Click here for directions to Cleveland State University West Center).  Registration and a light reception will start at 8:30 am with the focus group beginning promptly at 9:00 am.  The other option will be Wednesday February 9th at the Cleveland Heights Public Library 2345 Lee Road Cleveland Heights, OH 44118, Meeting Room A (Click here for directions to Cleveland Heights Public Library).  Registration and a light reception will start at 1:30 pm with the focus group beginning promptly at 2:00 pm.  Free parking will be available at both locations.  You will be contacted following receipt of this letter to further discuss this initiative.

If you are interested in participating in our project or have any further questions please contact me by email (personal info. not to display)...We look forward to working with you and sharing our results

Sincerely,
